After graduating from Stuyvesant High School in 1994, I stumbled in to an assistant video editor position at Frame:Runner in NYC. As fate would have it I arrived in the industry just as non-linear Avid systems were becoming capable of handling "broadcast-quality" video. I soon discovered Photoshop (the world's greatest application!) and After Effects and began specializing in short format, graphic intensive projects. I worked extensively for Viacom networks, particularly Comedy Central, and in the fashion and cosmetics industries on projects for companies like Ralph Lauren, Nautica, Revlon, and Shiseido.
By late 2001 I had seen enough TV to last a lifetime, and spent the next year on a cross-country motorcycle trip. When I returned to New York I enrolled at Columbia University, where I studied philosophy and psychology, and began working as a freelance designer. These days you will find me designing and developing web sites, and doing more than a little print design and copywriting as Director of Marketing for Tri-State College of Acupuncture. I have also recently formed iSeem LLC, which will be bringing high quality design to the alternative medicine community...more on that soon!
